There are several events happening only at the AAMA 2017 National Fall Conference (October 15-18), including the chance to better prepare children in Greenville, SC, for the new school year and an opportunity to showcase products at the AAMA Supplier Product Display.

Spouses will be rolling up their sleeves again this fall to fill backpacks with school supplies that equip under-privileged children with essential tools. Sponsors for this annual event are still needed, as AAMA has a goal of filling and distributing 500 backpacks at a cost of $24 per pack (a total cost of $12,000). Those interested in donating to this cause may contact Florence Nicolici, AAMA Meetings Manager, for sponsorship opportunities. AAMA thanks its partner, World Vision, for organizing this event each fall.

Additionally, Category 1 supplier members are encouraged to take advantage of an opportunity to display new products and services in a most congenial and informal atmosphere. Participants may also take a new headshot for AAMA’s online member directory and social media platforms at the AAMA photo booth. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres add a festive air to this event. AAMA has also invited local architects to attend this reception to diversify the audience of the display, extending the reach provided to AAMA members.

Because this is the first conference for which online registration is offered through the newly redesigned website, assistance is available, if needed. Instructions are available, and Florica Vlad, AAMA Senior Coordinator, Committee Meetings, can be reached at (847) 303-5664 ext. 121 for personal assistance.

As always, participants are encouraged to visit the registration desk throughout the conference to relay thoughts or feedback about the event.
