FGIA Supports Fenestration and Glass Companies During Time of Crisis

FGIA staff rapidly transitioned to full-time remote work, and we know many fenestration and glass companies have had to quickly adapt to a lot of change as well. Because of this, FGIA has been inventive in finding ways to help companies in our industry during this time of crisis. As a result of a recent survey of members seeking insight to better understand where and how  pressure points are hitting, FGIA will be announcing discounted rates for online education programs, a revised Virtual Summer Conference...

Network Online During the Virtual Summer Conference

By now, you have probably heard that the FGIA Summer Conference will be held virtually, due to the spread of COVID-19 and requests by government leadership to shelter-in-place. This event, previously intended to be held in Chicago, IL, will be hosted on Zoom instead, with sessions taking place on a single track for participants’ convenience. AAMA, IGMA Members Enjoy Combined Summer Event in Canada

The 2019 Joint AAMA and IGMA Summer Conferences went off without a hitch earlier this month, with members from both associations coming together to network and hear from industry leaders and speakers. Now, as the event draws closer, I’d...

If you’re going to the AAMA National Summer Conference June 11-14 in Olympic Valley, CA, check in on one of two sessions of a workshop I’m offering called, “A Marketing Guide to Instagram: Visually Showcasing Your Brand.”Instagram is interesting for a lot of reasons. It’s owned by Facebook so the two play well together, but it’s also...

Grab a Road Map to Economic Trends at the Summer Conference

Will you be traveling to Lake Tahoe this June for the AAMA Summer Conference? I’ll be there, helping industry leaders advance codes and technical matters along with standards development – while enjoying being outside in Northern California, of course. I’m excited for our speakers, especially the one giving our keynote address. John Manzella, speaker and author, will provide an overview of economic trends, critical global issues and what’s to come. We could all use a road map in 2018, and I’m interested in the analysis...
