Team Work and Collaboration Keep AAMA Going at Events and Beyond
If you got to the Summer Conference early enough on Sunday in Newport, RI, maybe you got to take part in the sailing and operating of three yachts in the Regatta Race. Some of our members were given different duties and instructed how best to keep afloat (and upright), and everyone had to work together to keep things running smoothly.
That’s not so different from how our association works, at in-person events as well as in between, with conference calls and document work. Our membership is made up of companies and individuals from all areas of the industry and many of them are competitors, yet they all work together to keep the boat afloat. Team work is key on the water and in the meeting rooms.
The Summer Conference was one full of excellent information. Our speakers covered topics like sustainability, how to best avoid lawsuits in the fenestration industry and what the Trump administration could mean for the work we do. We thank our speakers, as well as our excellent sponsors, for their team work in making this event exceptional.
Be sure to see if we got you on camera at either the Marble House tour and reception or at the clambake, and don’t forget to tag your own photos from the conference on social media using the hashtag #AAMAconf in the caption. Thanks for all you do for AAMA, and we’ll see you again this fall in Greenville, SC for the 2017 National Fall Conference!
