AAMA is pleased to announce the hiring of two new staff members to the Technical Services department. Glenn Ferris has accepted the newly created position of Technical Standards Specialist and began his AAMA career on October 29. Additionally, Kelsey St. John has accepted the position of Technical Services Assistant.

Ferris has more than 25 years of work experience predominantly related to doors and door hardware. He also has a great aptitude for reading and understanding technical standards and loves engaging with people and mediating discussions. “Glenn has a great personality that will fit right in with the AAMA team,” notes Steven Saffell, AAMA Technical Director.

For the last several months, St. John has worked as a temp for AAMA. In her new position, she will be assisting the Certification team with invoicing, the online store and the AAMA Virtual Library. St. John comes to AAMA as a recent college graduate with a degree in English and a willingness to take on new challenges. “After being given the opportunity to take on a number of tasks, Kelsey performed admirably, and we are excited to officially welcome her to the team,” says Saffell.
